![]() ![]() Especially when Ash took his chainsaw to Amanda's gut. Blood flowed quite freely in "The Dark One." Oh yes. And that someone was Heather, who'd already gotten pretty beat up last week. Yup, if all our main heroes were going to make it through the night, then someone needed to get sacrificed. First with the bugs crawling on her, then the nails to the face and feet, and then just getting ripped apart and shot out the front door. Poor Heather - (aka "Other Girl") - getting eviscerated by the cabin. Better to focus on here was just how wonderfully bats*** this finale was. And somehow didn't do any of this back then. Even though she's the one who wrote the book in the first place. Pablo somehow became the Necronomicon and barfed up demon children (one of whom got into a very fun fight with Ash) all so that Ruby could "Godfather" the demons. It's wasn't entirely clear, though I suppose it all stood its ground well enough for the Evil Dead franchise. Anyhow, the Ghostbeaters live on and Ruby gets to, I dunno, do something. And now, I guess.they all have to drive to Jacksonville? What a bum deal! I thought they'd just get magically transported there. ![]() He hit a dead end as far as his care for his Ghostbeaters team was concerned. Because it showed him being courageous enough to want to try and stop the evil. In fact, I really liked that he was offered this deal twice and got to refuse it during the first go round. And to try and convince himself that Ruby is doing something good by becoming the one dark lord in charge of all dark forces. And it nicely fit Ash's character (which was really strong here in the final two episodes of the season) to take the easy(ish) way out. So the Evil Dead in Ash vs Evil Dead has to stick around somehow. Because, well, there's a Season 2 coming. And he even refused her "Jacksonville" deal the first time she brought it up, but in the end - to save Kelly and Pablo - he called a truce. Oh, he made a concerted effort to stop her. A couple of great showdowns, culminating with Ash.bowing out of the battle. Which is currently being stolen. While it was frustrating to get so little information about Lucy Lawless' Ruby throughout the season, the show more than made up for their cursory treatment of her here as "Tricky Little Bitch" Ruby (who I assume.never really existed and was possessed the entire time by this ancient force?) and Ash had some tremendous scenes together. Where's the book? Safe and sound in the Delta. Ruby knows what the kids are going to do. I think it's Slime, like the stuff I used to play with as a kid. Nothing worse than an old, wrinkled Deadite. Pablo wakes up on the floor, telling Ruby she tried to kill him. Ruby has Pablo hogtied and suspended from the ceiling in Ash's bedroom. Lillian is freshening up for sexy time with Brock. Ash and Kelly are on their way back, Kelly's head hanging out the window. She's waiting for Ash on Brock's couch where Brock is trying to forget Ash. She stops him from joining Ash, but he'd probably wish she didn't, as he's got his head in Penis' ass, dick right over his face. ![]() Tommy is telling Kelly there are a lot of unexplained deaths in town, and he's guessing Ash fits into it somehow. Yes, that body was pretty damned specific. She's kicking it when Tommy Sheriff walks up.Īsh is fighting the intestines of Penis Ring. Kelly tried getting a pop, but it stole her money. ![]() There are intestines wrapped around it which are not willing to let go so easily. The morgue now looks like an episode of Ash vs. But she has no idea what he's talking about. She didn't expect him to deceive Ash like that. Pablo wants to know what Ruby did to him. He starts ravaging bodies with nearby chainsaw. Ash takes out the bone saw, but it's a piece of crap. Ash and Kelly are at the morgue, wondering which body holds the Necromonicon. The bodies sure pile up quick in Elk Grove, Michigan. Kelly and Ash go out to the car.Īsh sees his old flame Lillian Pendergrass on the street and recalls boning her. Nobody trusts Ruby, so Pablo would like a minute with her and the Kandarian dagger. Kelly is fighting Ruby over her poor choice of hiding places. The worst, most horrific thing to happen on AvED? Slicing the coroner's Achilles's tendon. Looks like her children are already there. Cut to the morgue, where dude is doing some cutting and bone chiseling. When they get upstairs, Ash sees Cheryl's room and has memories.įor reasons only clear in a horror movie, Ruby decides they need to get the Necromonicon before they kill her kids. Ash just wants to go into his old room until things are taken care of then they'll be on their way. Ashley and the gang walk into Brock's house, who isn't too happy to see them. ![]()
